The Bring Back Black Mission: Develop and implement a more effective leadership model that better addresses the needs of Africans in the Diaspora who are disconnected from the mainstream in the USA and across the Diaspora. This leadership model will address the need for more effective political action, and grassroots economic development that benefits Black communities – primarily in urban areas. We seek to address the “authentic needs” of Black communities, and place a high priority on Afrocentric education as a foundation for our children. |

The Bring Back Black (BBB) movement is a global effort to turn rhetoric into action thus making truly positive, measurable and tangible progress within the Black community. BBB is still in its beginning stages but this movement is like no other in that it has clearly defined, attainable and measurable goals as well as a strategic plan to achieve them. Furthermore, the Bring Back Black movement will rely on existing leaders and organizations to join together to advance their respective efforts. In addition, the founders of the movement have developed several different tasks forces, which are made up of already existing community leaders and activists from across the nation, which will address the ten critical success factors within the community. The ten task forces are (in no apparent order): Education, Communications, Technology, Economics, Public Policy, Community Services, Youth Affairs, Intelligence & Security, Spiritual Life & Assistance, and Pan-African Affairs. |
